Ruahine School's Production
We were invited to go to Ruahine's Production on Thursday. We walked down wearing our fluoro vests and sat up the front in the Town Hall. The show was in two parts - the first being The BFG and the second part, put on by the Seniors was The Iron Man. After the show, we came back on the bus.
Lucas at Football
Today I went to watch Lucas at football. Last week he got Player Of The Day for concentrating for the whole game. It was great to see them practising their skills and then using them in a game. Well done Lucas.

Sophie Siers Comes To The Tararua Library
Nikki, our friendly librarian, invited us to go to the Tararua Library to hear Sopie Siers read her book on Friday. It was a wet day but we managed to get there without getting too wet. Sophie talked to us about where she lives and about Allis. Allis is an old tractor on the farm where she lives at Waimarama. Mrs. Gyde's daughter, Alice, works at the Library and she had made a 3D Allis that was on the wall. After Sophie read her book, we were given some paper and some books with tractors and we could draw our own tractors. Then we were going to colour in some pictures of Allis and Nibbles, the horse but we decided to bring them back to school.

Discovery Day
On Friday Team One had a Discovery Day. We made huts, dressed up, built with the blocks, tinkered at the tinkering table and played with the train set. We really like Discovery Days.
