Today I went to watch Rugby and see our Room 2 players. Unfortunately Kane wasn't there but I saw some of Kade's game and he even scored a goal while I was watching - not his only goal either I was told!

Winter Warmers
Yesterday Nikki, our friendly librarian, came to school to check our Winter Warmers Booklets. All the people in this photo have received a tangram puzzle for completing five activities. We only have this week and next week to go until the programme finishes.
Jane Comes Back To Room 2
Jane, our Dental Therapist's helper, came in to check our lunch boxes today. She told us if we have sugary foods such as biscuits and dried fruit, that we should keep them for lunchtime. Jane helped everyone choose a good playtime food while she was in Room 2.
Maths This Week
We are learning how to give and follow instructions in Maths. We are learning about words such as under, beside, between, in front of, left and right.
We also had a go at some barrier games where we sit back to back with a partner and tell our partner where to put the cards without letting them look at our cards!

Dental Health
We are studying Dental Health at the moment. Today our two tooth fairies came and talked to us. They told us that an adult should help us clean our teeth until we are eight. We learnt a song and all got a chance to clean the big sets of teeth. We should use toothpaste about the size of a pea and should not rinse our mouth out with water when we finish. The tooth fairies will surprise us and come back to check our lunchboxes back in a few days!

DHS's Musical Performance
Today some Music students from South School came to entertain us. Jamie, who used to come to South School, played five different instruments. We saw and heard a saxophone, cornet, trumpet, flute, clarinet, guitars, piano, ukeleles and some singers.

Time
We have been studying time at school. Today we made a human clock using numbers to 12 and a long and short skipping rope. We made some o'clock times.
Last week we drew pictures with a buddy of something that took a short time to do and something that took a long time to do.
