Room 2 Students Aiming High - 29th May

Today TK was on the Aim High wall for the great treasure box that he made during Discovery day.

Signs

We went for a walk around the block to see what signs we could see.  We saw a lot of signs.

Then we came back to school and decided on a sign that we wanted to make.  Here are Teara's sign which tells us not to drop rubbish on our steps and Mya's sign that shows us not to leave a mess on the art/construction table. 

After we finished our signs we got our peers/classmates to assess them by using our 2 Stars and a Wish chart.

Friday Night Hockey

William, Kash and Eden all play hockey on a Friday night.  Mrs. Bone went to watch and see how they are going.

Dr. Seuss

Since the beginning of this Term we have been reading Dr. Seuss stories.  Today we had a Discovery Day based around Dr. Seuss.  We wrote some fantastic stories in the computer suite.  We would love parents to come in and read them.

Room 2 Students Aiming High

Today at Assembly Mr. Snell did another Aim High Presentation.  There were some Room 2 children on the board for Aiming High with their fast words.

Well done to Azareah, Devon, Miley, Mya and Sasha. Mya wrote 45 words in ten minutes.  Sasha had the biggest increase from last time - she got 14 more than last time!
